Akas now brings you AKAS TITAN Dual Vac, the most advanced lens-extraction equipment(phacoemulsifier) with computer-controlled venturi suction and powerful linear peristaltic suction - the only product of its kind in the Indian market combining both these features and offering a choice to the surgeon.
Nine different settings or parameters can be programmed and stored at a time, giving the surgeon wider choice as well as greater flexibility and manoeuvrability. An exclusive feature of the AKAS TITAN is that the operations can be directed with the help of a remote control unit(enclosed in a sterile packet), which gives the surgeon the freedom to alter the settings himself.
Dual suction, ventury and peristaltic
The equipment has two kinds of suctions, the doctor can choose between peristaltic suction and the computer controlled ventury true linear suction.

The actual relative phaco energy used is displayed even during linear phaco mode, by sampling energy used every 10 milliseconds.
Linear bipolar
The bipolar power can be linearly controlled fromm the foot pedal and a noble metal coating on the forceps avoids charring fo tissues.
Digital pressure gauge
The pressure to the vitrectomy cutter is digitally displayed and is more precise than the analog one.
Fast response solenoid for 990 cuts/min
A fast response solenoid is used to achieve higher cut rates upto 990 cuts/minute, with longer port open time for suction.
Wire Less Remote control
All settings can be operated using a wireless remote, enabling usage with sterile hands.

Burst Mode
Continuous and single burst mode is available with user programmable burst duration.
Laser up gradation
The AKAS TITAN can be upgraded to be used with our laser system for breaking of harder nucleus without warming the cornea and with, low turbulence, thereby rsulting in less trauma for the eye.

The strong and sturdy aluminium cast foot pedal gives precise control over all functions during surgery and also allows the surgeon to recall the programs previously stored.
